Key concepts in Nguyen AN Ninh’s thought on political struggle
Authors
Le Ngoc Hien
Abstract
The starting point of politics lies in human perception and reaction
within social relationships, which determine the interaction or conflict of
power. As an intellectual engaged in revolutionary activities, Nguyen AN Ninh
(1900–1943) developed his political thought based on an awareness that the
nature of the French colonial regime was inextricably linked to French capital
and the global capitalist system. This reality led Nguyen AN Ninh to determine
that political struggle must be grounded in ideology and organization,
implemented through a system of cognition, methodology, and the identification
of participating forces to build a political movement. The following article
focuses on researching the core contents of Nguyen AN Ninh’s thought regarding
political movements. From there, the paper provides an analysis of his approach
to the nature of colonial politics and the necessity of class struggle in
mobilizing the masses to prepare for the revolution.
