Enhancing interest in studying political theory subjects for university students - Current situation and solutions

Abstract
Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh thought are
the foundation and guideline for all actions of the Party. Currently, political
theory subjects are taught at all training and education institutions according
to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. However, the appeal of
these courses is not high, and learners’ interest in learning is not really
positive and enthusiastic. Based on the analysis of the current situation of
students’ interest in studying political theory subjects in the following
aspects: teaching staff, teaching and learning methods, testing and assessment,
forms of teaching and learning of political theory subjects, thereby proposing
solutions to increase interest in learning political theory subjects for
university students today.
