Solutions to enhance the effectiveness of gender equality implementation in Vietnam currently

Abstract
In the present era, gender equality has become one of the global
development issues. Referring to gender equality is basically mentioning
equality in status, opportunities and rights of women with men. According to a
report by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), by the end of the 20th
century, countries had obtained important achievements in human development,
but there had still been differences in development indicators between men and
women. Specifically, women's capacity development in all countries has been
lower than that of men, especially in underdeveloped countries. The paper
analyzes the current situation of gender equality implementation in Vietnam,
thereby proposing some solutions to contribute to enhancing the effectiveness
of gender equality implementation in Vietnam now.
