Oldboy reflects the ideas and thoughts of early Greek tragedy King Oedpius but with more depth and scientific as well as logical explanations. Analyzing the inner and outer conflicts between the characters of King Oedipus and Oldboy through Psychoanalytic Theories has been the main motive of the study. Together with the support of previous authentic books, articles, film reviews and self-interpretations, the essence of hidden demand inside human mind has been revealed.
